Biography[]

Dial M for Monkey: Huntor[]

Huntor has Monkey kidnapped and brought to his game preserve in space. Using Agent Honeydew and the Commander as hostages, he makes Monkey become his prey. After removing Monkey's powers, Huntor has the upperhand with his advanced weaponry. However, Monkey uses nature and simple booby-traps to take down Huntor. After his game preserve self-destructs, Monkey drops Huntor on a remote planet where he becomes the prey of two giant alien Space Hicks.

Weaponry[]

  • Heat Seeking Moisture Missile - Used to nullify Monkey's Heat Vision.
  • Ampliphaser - Used to nullify Monkey's attack, amplify its power, and send it back at him.
  • Force Field - Created specifically to reflect Monkey's energy field.
  • Negative Ion Blaster - Used to diffuse Monkey's energy field (the source of his powers).
  • Gun - A regular handgun that shoots good old fashioned lead.
  • Monkey Emission Scanner/Sensor - Used to track Monkey. Huntor throws it to the ground in frustration, breaking it, when Monkey hides in a location that the MES can't track.
  • Big Gun - A large gun with all the fancy add-ons, including a detachable hunting knife, a harpoon, torpedoes and machine gun bullet strip.

Trivia[]

  • The Imakandi, a race of lion-like alien hunters from Samurai Jack, bear a strong resemblance to Huntor. Considering that both Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack were created by Genndy Tartakovsky, it is likely that he based the Imakandi on Huntor, or that Huntor is a member of this species himself.
  • Huntor also made a short cameo appearance in Samurai Jack as one of the many bounty hunters after Samurai Jack. However, this time around, his alien elephant Snorkdro was a robot.
  • Huntor is a parody of the Yautja aliens from the Predator film series and the Marvel Comics character Kraven the Hunter.
  • Huntor's voice is based on Steve Irwin, a well-known Australian animal wrangler and TV show host who passed away on September 4, 2006.
