The Transference Receptors are the result of Dexter's future research into the field of Neurotomics, made possible by his Neurotomic Protocore. These devices allow for matter manipulation and the distribution of knowledge from the user of the core to the people of the world. This allows those wearing these receptors to gain the same intelligence and wisdom as the distributor aka Dexter, and with his knowledge they are able to use the receptors to teletronically manifest what they need for their daily lives, ensuring that there be little need for conflict and creating peace and harmony for all the inhabitants of Dextopia. Old Man Dexter himself apparently does not need a receptor as he is shown being able to alter matter without one, although this may be due to constant exposure to the core.
